Downtown Miami includes 4 distinct areas: Brickell, Park West, the Central Business District and Midtown, which is then divided into the Wynwood and Edgewater districts. The area has a number of attractions for both locals and tourists, including the Miami Art Museum, Miami Arena Events, the Historical Museum of Southern Florida, the Maurice Gusman Center for the Performing Arts and the American Airlines Arena. Downtown Miami is also home to a number of restaurants and shops, making homes and condos here extremely desirable.
